A. Xavier Raj attended the Consultation for the sector experts and core stakeholders on the way forward of Ease of Living 2.0 organised by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, GoI.

The Loyola College Society has appointed Prof. A. Xavier Raj, Chairperson of CKP Centre, LIBA, as a Consultant to launch a Global Integrated Masters Programme of ICAM, France, from the academic year 2019-20. This is a unique Global Masters Programme wherein the students will learn 2 years in India, 3^rd and 4^th year in Cameroon / Brazil / France and the final 2 years in France.

 Faculty Development Programme @ Loyola College: (1) “How to prepare effective power point presentations and infographics, use multi-media resources in internet and cloud based learning platforms, flipped classrooms, and MOOC” by Dr. A. Xavier Raj (2) “Learning Management System (LMS) on Cloud” by Dr. A. Siluvairaja.

A. Xavier Raj addressed the M.Phil and Ph.D Research Scholars in a Discussion on “Inter Disciplinary, Multi-Disciplinary and Trans disciplinary Research – A Practitioner’s Perspective” organised by LISSTAR.

CKP Centre for Emerging India (MSME Section) in association with Loyola Outreach, Department of Commerce aided in organising a one-day workshop for women entrepreneurs.

A. Xavier Raj, Dr. A. Siluvairaja and Mr. S. Natarajan, Assistant Commissioner, Chennai Corporation were the Resource Persons for an Awareness Talk on Waste Management at Loyola College of Education.

A. Xavier Raj was the Resource Person for the IQAC organised Workshop on 'Placement Training' and conducted a session to orient the students on ‘how to face the interview.’

Prof. A. Xavier Raj met with the team at St. Joseph’s College (SJC), Trichy, to discuss existing initiatives at SJC for skill building and setting up small businesses. Loyola Inclusive Innovation Impact Centre (L3iC) with its mandate to create open inclusive ecosystem for innovation, startups and investment will collaborate with SJC to promote skill development, ideation, entrepreneurship, campus companies, fabrication lab and incubation of startup in and around SJC campus. An MoU to this effect will be signed between L3iC and SJC.

Meeting with the representatives of Sewagram Collective and K.C. College, Mumbai to discuss the timeframe for three books on Mahatma Gandhi, an international conference and signing of MoU.

CKP Centre in association with Jesuit Migrants Ministry External (JMMEx) organised a consultation and briefing session in Cuddalore, Thiruvannamalai and Villupuram districts for the family members of overseas migrants for their resettlement back home.

Meeting with Dr. Sylendra Babu, ADGP, Railways, to form and help desk at Central and Egmore railway stations for the economic migrants.

A. Xavier Raj, as a member (Anthropologist) of District Vigilance Committee for the 10 Southern Districts in Tamil Nadu, disposed a record number of 94 cases of genuineness of SC claims in Tuticorin District

A. Xavier Raj, Advisor to OfERR in India and Sri Lanka, representing CKP Centre @ LIBA participated in the Strategic meeting of key stakeholders (Australian Border Forces and OfERR). He is the communication expert in the 5 year long intervention to stop illegal migration.

Addressed 50 Dalit Entrepreneurs, specifically explaining the concept of incubators and initiatives taken by LIBA and L3iC at Indian Chamber of Commerce for Affirmative Action (ICCAA).

CKP Centre conducted an E-Commerce Orientation Programme for the members of Indian Chamber of Commerce for Affirmative Action (ICCAA) at LIBA.
